Simone Kain is co-owner of creative agency Hello Friday and co-founder and author of award-winning educational brand, George the Farmer, which teaches children about farming practices along with how food and fibre is produced through picture books, music, videos, apps, performance, free curriculum-aligned educator guides and live action episodes appearing on ABC TV.

With extensive experience in website development, communications and business management, Simone has won numerous awards for George including the ‘2017 Agrifutures Rural Women’s Award National Runner-up’, Best Small Business Awards for the WiBRD Influential Women in Business Awards, ‘NAB Women’s Agenda Leadership Awards Rural Entrepreneur of the Year’, ‘Women in Technology Innovation Award’ and more. She is a current board member of Regional Development Australia Limestone Coast and sits on the Ignite Advisory panel for AgriFutures Australia and the Rural R&D for Profit Expert Assessment Panel for the Department of Agriculture.
